February was a rough month for me. I underwent major surgery and spent several nights in the hospital, followed by a few unexpected emergency room visits. It was a tough time, both physically and emotionally. But even through these challenges, I managed to maintain a level of visibility—all thanks to planning ahead.
Staying Visible Despite Setbacks
Because my surgery was planned in advance, I knew I needed to prepare content ahead of time. I created and scheduled several weeks of content for my website so that I could remain present, even while I was away. This experience reinforced an important lesson: visibility doesn’t always have to mean showing up in real-time. With the right strategy, we can continue to build our presence even when life throws us unexpected hurdles.
Another key factor that helped me maintain visibility was having an optimized LinkedIn profile. Even though I hadn’t posted in several weeks, during my recovery, two people found my page and based on the information they saw, decided that I might be able to help them. Because my consultation link was conveniently placed at the top of my page, they were able to schedule a chat with me.
After taking time off, I returned to some new leads and was able to convert one into a paying client. This reinforced the importance of having strong, evergreen visibility assets in place, so opportunities can still come your way even when you’re not actively promoting yourself.
I’m happy to share that my recovery is going well, and I’m now back to work. With March here, I’m shifting gears and embracing new opportunities to increase my visibility.
What’s Happening in March
My March calendar is packed with ways to show up, connect, and expand my reach. Under my Yes, I Can Help You brand, I’ve decided to host two more networking events. These gatherings have been instrumental in helping introverted entrepreneurs build meaningful connections in a space designed specifically for them.
In addition to networking events, I’m launching something new this month: a free webinar called Overcoming Visibility Fears. I know that visibility can feel intimidating, especially for introverts, so this webinar will help attendees identify and work through the barriers holding them back. My goal is to make visibility feel less overwhelming and more aligned with who they are.
For those who want deeper guidance and a personalized approach, I’m offering my Unlock Your Unique Visibility workshop. This paid workshop will walk attendees through my method for creating their own visibility strategy—one that feels authentic and sustainable for them.
Because visibility isn’t about forcing ourselves into uncomfortable situations; it’s about finding ways to show up that work for us.
This journey has reminded me that setbacks don’t mean stopping. Even when life slows us down, we can still be intentional about how we show up and engage with our audience. I’m excited for what’s ahead this month and looking forward to helping more introverts step into their visibility with confidence.
