50 Episodes In: What This Journey Has Taught Me

This is a milestone episode.
Not because it’s perfect. Not because it’s highly produced. But because it’s real and it marks something I’m truly proud of:

50 episodes of Building Her Dream.

When I started this podcast, I didn’t know what to expect. I launched it as a way to practice speaking on camera and to stretch myself out of my comfort zone. I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it or stick with it. But here I am 50 episodes in and I’ve learned so much about visibility, confidence, connection, and what it really means to show up as an introverted woman in business and in life.

In this solo episode, I’m reflecting on that journey. I’m sharing what this podcast has taught me, what’s surprised me, and how it’s helped me grow. Not just as a host, but as a leader, a creator, and a community builder.

In this episode, I share:

  • Why I started the podcast (spoiler: it had nothing to do with strategy)
  • How the show has helped me overcome fears around public speaking and visibility
  • What I’ve learned from interviewing introverted women around the world
  • The surprising ways podcasting has helped me feel more connected
  • A handful of real, personal lessons from this journey

This episode is for you if:

  • You’re someone who starts and stops things and feels guilty about it
  • You’re wondering if your voice, story, or presence really matters
  • You’ve been thinking about launching something new (a podcast, a blog, a workshop) but perfectionism is getting in the way
  • You want a reminder that growth happens over time—and often quietly

Mentioned in this episode:

  • Her Dream Society – My private community for introverted women building their dream lives and businesses
