Say hello to Sara Bohling from Nebraska, USA. Her dream life is full of abundance and simplicity with the time, space and resources to be well-nourished in all areas–mind, body and spirit. Allowing her to pour into the things she loves the most; her family, serving others and connecting with nature! It’s not extravagant or extreme, just a simple, grace-filled life.
Sara, tell us about the work you do and what inspired you to start your business.
I’m a Wife, Mom to two daughters and a sunset enthusiast. I’m a Nurse with 20 years experience previously working with premature babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and am now broadening my scope, to provide holistic wellness & transformative life coaching & consulting.
It’s amazing to think I’ve been walking alongside and supporting people for two decades!
As a holistic wellness & transformative life coach, I am here to help you become even more amazing than you already are using a grace-filled approach; being authentic, genuine and heart-centered.
My true love is helping leaders, healers and high achievers. Whether that title fits at home, work or the community, I resonate deeply with all those characteristics as they are all roles I’ve held before.
Being able to help support, create work/life balance, increase confidence & self worth, and empower this group of people really lights me up!
Has being an introvert affected your life and your career?
Being an introvert has been a blessing in this career. Some might not see it that way since I’m not inclined to ‘work the room’ like extroverts might do at an event.
Instead, I get to have deeper, meaningful conversations with a few people and really connect with them. I get to hear their words, watch their body language and lean in to support them in ways they didn’t know they needed.
All thanks to being an introvert and being drawn to deeper connection, quieter spaces and meaningful discussions.
Can you share a significant lesson you have learned on your journey so far?
I have learned to listen to my body in powerful ways. I don’t have the capacity to go to 12 networking events each week, on top of hours of coaching. It’s not best for me or my clients.
So I’ve learned to create really healthy boundaries around my health, my body, protecting my nervous system and allowing plenty of downtime to recalibrate.
If it isn’t a ‘best yes’ for me; then it’s a no. That was hard to my people-pleaser tendencies, but it’s been a game changer for me!
What advice would you give to other introverted women who are on a journey to build their dreams?
Don’t let your tendency to be introverted keep you small. You are amazing, you have gifts to share with the world and the gifts you have to bring…nobody else has!
So find your path, the one that feels authentically you. And pour into it. Create deep connections, find your tribe and go build those dreams bigger than you ever imagined!
Thank you for taking the time to share your story.
