Like many entrepreneurs, Lolly’s journey started with a feeling that her 9-to-5 wasn’t cutting it. “I worked at a traditional, in-office 9-5 writing for a real estate blog for one year before I decided that it was not for me and that there had to be more in store for my creativity!” she shares.
So, she took the leap. In 2014, she launched Crea Content Marketing, freelancing for a few clients and steadily growing her business. Over the next five years, she built it into a six-figure operation, all while honing her craft, working with diverse clients, and expressing herself creatively.
Thriving as an Introverted DreamHer
Lolly embodies what it means to be an Introverted DreamHer. Someone who leans into their strengths, crafts a business that aligns with their energy, and creates impact in their own way. While she describes herself as an “extroverted introvert,” she recognizes how her introversion fuels her work.
“I love people and connecting with and learning from them,” Lolly explains. “But I really recharge while I’m alone creating. Obviously, this is perfect for my work as a writer! I put on my extrovert hat to go out into the world and have life experiences and meet interesting people that I can then translate into captivating written work in my natural introvert habitat.”
This balance between outward experiences and inward creativity has been a key to her success.

If you’re sitting on a creative dream, Lolly has some simple yet powerful advice: just start.
“I know this sounds like something you’d find inside a fortune cookie, but life is too short to not follow your dream,” she says. “Even if you start it out as a side gig while working your full-time job for now, any step forward COUNTS. The magic is in moving towards that dream, even if it’s one baby step a day.”
In other words? Don’t wait for the perfect moment; create it.
Living the Dream (Literally)
What does success look like for Lolly? Living life exactly how she wants to.
“I am lucky enough to say I am already living it,” she shares. “I live where I want in Mexico City, work when I want 4-6 hours a day, work only on projects I want to work on like writing books, newsletters, and coaching fellow creatives. I travel when I want. I take a month-long trip every year sometimes working, sometimes not, and I have a home and community I absolutely adore!”
Though she calls herself lucky, her mother reminds her that she made her own luck and that’s something every aspiring entrepreneur should take to heart.
