Melissa’s biggest advice? Take advantage of the opportunities remote work offers introverts. “When I first started, remote working wasn’t the norm. People wanted to meet in person,” she said. “The tide has shifted, and it has benefitted me tremendously as an introvert. Plus, there are plenty of introverted groups you can join if you just look for them.”
I realized what I really wanted was a life I don’t need a vacation from.
Living the Dream Life
Melissa’s dream life isn’t just a fantasy—it’s her reality. “I started my business for more freedom and flexibility,” she shared. “That meant being with my family whenever they wanted or needed me. I’ve definitely achieved that. My dreams started small, and eventually, I realized what I really wanted was a life I don’t need a vacation from. That is the life I have now.”
