Alexandra Degiorgio spent over two decades climbing the corporate ladder in IT, managing global teams and delivering major projects. To the outside world, she looked like she had it all together. But behind the scenes, she was battling chronic stress, burnout and the confusing symptoms of perimenopause.
โI was dealing with brain fog, sleepless nights, weight gain, mood swings,โ she recalls. โBut I didnโt realize it was perimenopause at first. I just kept pushing through because I didnโt know what else to do.โ
Around the same time, Alexandraโs daughter was facing her own health crisis, suffering from debilitating stomach issues that conventional medicine couldnโt resolve. Desperate for answers, Alexandra began exploring nutrition and lifestyle changes. โThatโs when things started to shift,โ she says. โMy daughter began to heal and I did too.โ
That healing journey became a turning point. She left corporate life behind and became a certified womenโs health coach, determined to help others feel strong and whole again.
Supporting Women Through Lifeโs Shifts
Today, Alexandra supports moms navigating perimenopause and menopause like women who feel “off” and donโt know why. Through 1:1 coaching, group programs, and practical lifestyle guidance, she helps them regain control of their health and reconnect with their bodies.
โIโve been through it, so I know how turbulent this phase can be,โ she says. โBut I also know how powerful the transformation is when women start feeling like themselves again.โ
Once I started showing up as myself, people began to resonate with what I was sharing.
Owning Her Voice as an Introvert
Alexandra admits the early days of entrepreneurship werenโt easy. โI stayed behind my desk for a year,โ she says. โI was sending emails and posting online, but I wasnโt showing up fully and I had no paying clients.โ
Eventually, she realized that true connection comes from authenticity. โWellness is personal work. People need to trust you. Once I started sharing my story and being visible, people started to resonate with what I was saying.โ
Being an introvert, she says, isnโt a weakness. But it can become a box if you let it. โYou donโt have to change who you are, but you do have to stop holding yourself back.โ
Creating Her Dream Life One Step at a Time
Alexandraโs vision for her dream life is clear and sheโs already on the path. She envisions hosting intimate retreats for women, speaking at wellness events, and writing a book to inspire others. Most of all, she wants to continue helping women feel clear, strong, and at home in their bodies again.
